Affiliate disclosure

What an affiliate link is

Most links from Trova to shops are affiliate links. They carry a code that tells the retailer, or the affiliate network that runs its programme, that you came from us. If you then buy something within a set period, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale.

• You do not pay more because you used our link.
• We do not see who you are or what else you bought. Networks report sales to us as totals.
• Some retailers we link to may not pay us anything. We link to them anyway if they have the best price or the size you need.

Who pays us

We are, or may become, a member of affiliate programmes run by retailers and networks including [LIST OF NETWORKS AND PROGRAMMES, e.g. Awin, Impact, AvantLink, CJ].

[IF JOINED: As an Amazon Associate, Trova earns from qualifying purchases.]

Why commissions don't change our results

• Matches are ranked by spec similarity using the same formula for every brand. Commission rates are not an input. See our methodology.
• No brand or retailer can pay to rank higher or to be included.
• Where we list several retailers for one product, we sort them by price, not by how much they pay us.
• We do not accept free products in exchange for coverage. If we ever receive one, we will say so on the page.

Ads and sponsored placements

We do not run sponsored rankings. If we ever show advertising or a paid placement, it will be labelled Ad or Sponsored where you see it, and it will be kept separate from match results.

Where we tell you

We show a short disclosure on every page that has links to retailers, close to the first link, and in the footer of every page. This page has the details.
