These terms apply to your use of the website and its tools. Our privacy policy, cookie policy and affiliate disclosure also apply. If you use Trova as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Information only

Trova compares running gear using published specifications. Match percentages, successor suggestions and fit results are a guide to help you shortlist. They are not a promise that a product will fit you, suit your running or be right for you. Try products on where you can, and check the retailer's size guide and returns policy before you buy.

We don't test products ourselves. See our methodology for how data is sourced and scored.

Not medical advice

Nothing on Trova is medical, physiotherapy, podiatry or professional fitting advice. If you have pain, an injury, or a condition that affects your feet, joints or breasts, talk to a qualified professional before changing your footwear or sports bra. Stop running and get advice if something hurts.

Specs and prices can be wrong or change

• We take specs from brands and retailers and try hard to get them right, but sources can be wrong, change without notice or disagree with each other.
• Prices, stock and sizes come from retailer feeds and can change at any time after we fetch them. The price and terms shown by the retailer at checkout are the ones that apply.
• If you spot an error, please tell us. See corrections.

Retailers and outside links

We don't sell anything. When you buy, you buy from the retailer, and your contract is with them. The retailer is responsible for the product, delivery, returns, refunds and customer service, and its own terms apply.

We don't control retailers' or other third-party websites and we give no warranty about them, their products or their content. A link from Trova is not an endorsement of the retailer. Many links are affiliate links; see our affiliate disclosure.

Email alerts

Price and release alerts are a free, best-effort service. We may miss a price change, send an alert after a deal has ended, or stop the service. You can unsubscribe at any time from any alert email.

Using our content

The Trova name and logo, our page designs, text, the compiled database of specs and lineages, and derived data such as match scores belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and database rights.

• You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and quote small amounts with a link back to the page.
• You may not copy, scrape or extract a substantial part of the database, or reuse it to build a competing product, without our written permission.
• You must not interfere with the site, try to get around security measures, or use it for anything unlawful.

Product names, logos and images belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products.

Our liability

We provide Trova free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or complete, and we are not liable for:

• losses caused by relying on specs, prices, availability or match results that turn out to be wrong or out of date;
• anything a retailer or other third party does or fails to do, including the products they sell you;
• losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or business losses.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page at the time you use the site applies. If a part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
